Hill School
1898. The school is named for Almoran Hill, one of Oregon's earliest American pioneers. It remained in use until 1962. It's across the road from Hill's homestead, where Marcus Whitman stayed multiple times, and down the road from Hill Cemetery, where several prominent pioneers, including William Doughty, are buried.
